Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important parts of planning a wedding. Unlike the flowers which will wilt and the dresses that will be tucked away, the photographs will last forever. This is why it is so important that you have a clear idea of what kind of pictures they want before they even meet with the wedding photographer. These guidelines will help you know if a wedding photographer is a good pick for you.
Before booking a wedding photographer set up a meeting with them and look at their portfolio; never book on the phone. It is a necessity to see the wedding photographer’s portfolio. Talking with them will help them know what you want and help you understand what kind of work they do. Talk to a friend or family member about what you are looking for and invite them to the meeting. Show them your list of guidelines so they can follow them with you. When considering the type of photography you want, think about casual shots versus formal shots. Think of everyone in the wedding party and who needs to be photographed together. Are all your old work friends coming who you haven’t seen since you left? Is your college roommate coming? These are all pictures to keep in mind.
Place yourself in the photographs you see in the wedding photographer’s portfolio. If these were one your wall, would you be happy? Look for variety. If all the shots the wedding photographer shows you are close up this is a bad sign. Check the edges and background in the photographs and make sure the set ups are clean even. Take photographs you like in to show your photographer and see how they compare to their portfolio.
Ask the wedding photographer for their qualifications and how much experience they have doing wedding photography. The letters LBIPP, ABIPP or FBIPP after their name means they are BIPP qualified and considered a professional photographer. Ask about the unexpected. How will they handle your photographs if it snows? Are you okay with their ideas? Check to see if your wedding photographer has Professional Indemnity insurance cover in the event that your photos need to be retaken.

When a family is confronted with the death of a loved one the lasting impacts can be devastating and complicated. It’s absolutely essential that you find a capable team to support you and your loved ones. Finding the right hospice to take care of you and your loved ones is a smart step in the right direction. A capable facility can offer the kind of talented and knowledgeable support that you’ll need as you go through this sensitive ordeal.
While the facility regularly takes on patients it is also common to provide a homebound care plan that allows patients to continue living at home while still receiving quality care from the home hospice staff. This kind of setup varies depending on the need of the patient. Some patients may receive a few visits a week from the facility staff while others may be placed on “continuous care” and receive bedside care 24 hours a day.
In addition to the basic services that the center can offer to their patients they also provide a number of complementary services to enhance the quality of stay for their patients. Some of these complementary medicines include Healing Touch, Reiki, Music Therapy and a myriad of other practices designed to broaden the quality of service offered to the patients and their families.
The services that a hospice care facility can offer are expansive and encompassing. The services are all tailored to ensure the absolute comfort and care of the patient and their family. Pain management and psychological care are top priority at any facility and suiting the needs of each and every unique patient is a challenge that all facilities strive to meet.
Aside from conventional medicine, many facilities offer complementary medicine practices as well. Some of these practices include Reiki, Healing Touch, Music Therapy and Pet Visitation to name a few. These complementary practices enhance the quality of the patient’s well-being and expand the Hospice Services to a more rounded dimension.
For some patients the choice to stay at home and build a care plan around that decision will seem the most appealing. Homebound patients may still receive quality and capable care as needed. This kind of plan may feature several weekly visits from facility staff to the patient’s home to help manage their pain, monitor their condition and provide emotional support. Patients who may need additional bedside assistance can be put on “continuous care” to receive 24 hours of diligent care. Home hospice is just one of many options patients and their families can select when choosing a care plan.
Home hospice is another option that many patients and families will have to consider. Offering patients the ability to receive top-notch care from the comfort of their own home this option is preferable to some patients and their families. This kind of care offers varying levels of attention depending on need. Some patients will be visited several times a week to receive pain management and medical attention and others will be placed on “continuous care” and receive 24 hour bedside attention.
The grieving process is a difficult tribulation for any family. The effects are powerful and lasting. Trusting your situation to the hands of a capable staff, dedicated Hospice Volunteers, and Hospice facility is the first step to obtaining peace of mind and some much needed support. With Hospice Donations you can help ensure that the hospice care centers near you will be able to stay open for many years to come.

An important question to ask yourself if you are prone to anxiety or depression is this… Do you feel you are fulfilling your life’s purpose or intention?
The reason to ask this question is because many people suffering from anxiety or depression feel as though there should be more to life or that they want more, but are stuck and not able to take action towards their goal. This then has the negative effect of causing anxiety or stress symptoms which is the bodies way of being true to itself… The frustration has to come out in some way!
Establish What You Really Want
So have some quiet time on your own with some paper, and start asking yourself what do you really want to life? If an angel came and advised that you could have your future pan out anyway you wish, how would that look? Write it all down…
Make A Plan
Once you can determine what you really want for your future, make a plan. Brainstorm some ways you could start working towards this. Do you have a friend achieving great things, or an acquaintance offering you a real opportunity you never took up? Do you have a love of something creative you could start creating and selling? Take time to write down some things you could start doing.
Take Action
Working towards your life purpose means your subconsciousness is congruent (in harmony) with your actions. You will be amazed at how much better you start to feel once you begin taking action towards your goals.
Break your goal into baby steps so it is easier to reward yourself at each step. Everyone has step backs so don’t let that stop you. The true secret of successful people is their unwillingness to give up and they fail their way to the top. Just keep trying.
If you are stuck by fear, then get as much help as possible, a mentor, life coach and books and CD’s on personal development can help with this.
Reap The Rewards
Visualize how you will feel when you finally achieve what your goals. reduction in anxiety and depression would be marvelous and is a reality you can create for yourself, especially if the cause is you feeling incongruency (disharmony with current status and life purpose).
Good Luck with your life purpose. But you won’t need it as long as you decide to personally keep growing and don’t give up.

Have you ever tried to bake any kind of seafood? There are numerous special types of seafood that are fairly luscious when baked instead of the typical frying that most people do.
Baked scallops is one of those dishes. When you fry the scallops you get a nice crusty outside and a soft moist center. But this can be fattening and sometimes they get dried out if you leave them in the oil too long. By baking them instead, you stand a much better chance of having them come out the exact way they should be done. For an awesome entree for the family you can try baking the scallops instead of using them as a side dish with other fish.
Plus it’s alot healthier than the oil. Take some time to learn how to bake scallops and you won’t be dissappointed when you take that first bite. Bay scallops are small, round, sweet and delicious seafood. They are usually white or yellowish in color. I believe they turn a yellowish if they have sat too long, because they are usually white. They are made so many different ways. You can put them in salads or fry them up or even saute them. There are larger scallops (sea scallops with herbes), but they are usually 4-5 times bigger and are not as versatile as these little gems.
Also, the price difference at the grocery store is significan’t. Bay scallops are cheaper than sea scallops, costing between $2.99 and $6.99 per pound, compared to $9.99 per pound. This is a huge savings and you still reap the rewards of a great tasting and good for you food item. So get some and really enjoy a treat from the ocean. We are taking a vacation this summer, and I’m looking for a place where my son can see sea scallops. After he sees them live I am concerned he may not like sea scallops on the plate, But I guess we will have to see.
Does anybody know of aquariums or touch tanks where we can view these aquatic creatures? We expect to travel within America and I would want to teach my son about these water critters, however, I am not sure where to begin. All I really know about scallops is that they have a lot of blue, glowing eyes. But then, the only picture I’ve ever seen of sea scallops was in an old National Geographic magazine. Does anybody have any good websites about the habitats or habits of live sea scallops? Finding information on the internet can be difficult. My search for sea scallops turned up many sites that I wouldn’t even want my son to see.
